Meg Suzuki Hudson

Meg Suzuki Hudson was born in Yokohama, Japan and grew up in northeastern Pennsylvania. She began playing taiko and shinobue with Odaiko New England (Boston, MA) in 1999, started playing with San Jose Taiko in 2003, and joined the Artistic Staff in 2007. In addition to being a performer, she is the Junior Taiko program coordinator and teaches the Senior, Adult, and Youth Recreational Classes. Meg has degrees from the Hartt School of Music, San Francisco Conservatory, the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts, is an alumnus of the Tanglewood, Aspen, Sarasota, AIMS (Graz, Austria), and Pacific Music Festivals, and was formerly on the editorial staff of Cook's Illustrated Magazine.
