Halloween in Japantown

  • Wesley United Methodist Church 566 North 5th Street San Jose, CA, 95112 United States (map)

When: Tuesday October 31st, 2017
Where: San Jose Japantown

In 2003 San Jose Taiko in partnership with the Japantown Business Association started Halloween in Japantown with a simple idea of providing a fun, safe option for trick-or-treating during Halloween in our neighborhood. We love that so many families and merchants now consider Halloween in Japantown a community tradition.  Thank you Japantown businesses, organizations, and families for all your support!

New additional activities for 2017:
- Street Closure: we are closing Jackson Street from 4th to 6th so that pedestrians can enjoy the open streets! Parking available for $2 at lot near 6th and Jackson.
- 7:30PM Silent film showing w/live taiko soundtrack on Jackson Street near 6th followed by another showing near JT Express on Jackson.
- 8:15PM SJT & The Get Down dance party at 5th and Jackson

Thank you to Knight Foundation and California Arts Council for making possible this new addition to the evening as well as this year's street closure.
