JTPE Performing at "Undokai" Children's Health, Sports & Culture Day

  • Japanese American Museum of San Jose (JAMsj) 535 North 5th Street San Jose, CA, 95112 United States (map)

Health/Sports Day originally held on October 10th is the anniversary of the opening ceremony of the 1964 Tokyo Olympics. With the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in sight, we thought we would bring this event closer to San Jose’s Japantown with our own version of a Health, Sports and Culture Day at JAMsj.

Please join us for an afternoon of cultural demonstrations that brings Health, Sports and Culture together. There will be various performances by our own local young talent followed by relay races (Undokai) for the kids. So pack your Obento lunch and enjoy the afternoon. The JAMsj Museum will also be open with docents on hand for tours.
