What Is The State of Arts Report?

Cultural New Deal Silicon Valley: State of The Arts is a report that draws insights from interviews with multiple Executive Directors of established arts organizations in Silicon Valley and feedback from focus groups that included over 20 local artists and arts administrators. This version of State of The Arts examines the impact of local philanthropy on our arts ecosystem, highlighting its positive and negative effects, and offers forward-thinking recommendations for future progress.

What is Cultural New Deal Silicon Valley?

Recognizing the urgency of our social and economic situation, we, a coalition of BIPOC-led/serving independent artists and arts organizations, organized ourselves under the banner of Cultural New Deal Silicon Valley.
