Meg Suzuki Hudson (Ofuna, Japan/Turbotville, PA) began playing taiko and shinobue with Odaiko New England (Boston, MA) in 1999, joined the Audition Process in 2003, and joined the San Jose Taiko's staff in 2007. In addition to being a performer, she is the Junior Taiko program coordinator, teaches the Senior and Adult Recreational Classes, and has been a workshop leader for the North American Taiko Conference and the NorCal Regional Taiko Gathering. She is a member of the Multicultural Arts Leadership Institute (MALI). Meg has degrees in Flute Performance from the Hartt School of Music, the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and is an alum of the Tanglewood, Aspen, Sarasota, and Pacific Music Festivals.
